Business Development Executive

Sapphire Inspection Systems is an established developer and manufacturer of specialist x-ray image processing equipment for the food and pharmaceutical industries. With a good product range and strong market opportunities, the company is now structuring itself for rapid growth.

The Role:

Forming the new Commercial Team, our Business Development Managers are technical commercial specialists eager to develop new customers and drive revenue growth as part of a small, successful business during its growth phase.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and nurture relationships with our Distributor and OEM network, enabling sustained growth from these channels.
  • Drive revenue growth from new business development within the food and beverage processing, cosmetic manufacturing and engineering industries.
  • Represent the brand and business at exhibitions and networking events both in the UK and abroad.
  • Provide a knowledgeable, consultative and solution led relationship to customers that reflects the company’s identity.
  • Deliver against commercial targets and KPI’s, provide commercial tracking and order processing according to company practice.

Key Skills:

  • Commercially driven.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Working experience or knowledge with either food and beverage manufacturing or the pharmaceutical industries.
  • Ability to communicate technical information to customers in a clear and concise way.

 

This role requires travel throughout the UK and therefore a full UK driving license is imperative when applying for this role.
